As a PGA Teaching Professional, I understand the need for quality golf clubs. Helping students choose the right golf equipment is a significant part of my job as an instructor, The challenge, is finding equipment that satisfies each individuals needs. While some golfers are easiliy satisfied by purchasing the "top of the line" clubs, they are not the majority. Instead, most golfers typically have the following profile/criteria:
- I need new clubs and I have a budget
- I am a beginner and don't want to spend a lot on golf clubs, because I am not sure how I will like golf
- I need custom fit clubs on a box set budget
- My child has grown out of their junior clubs and needs adult clubs, but I don't want to spend a fortune
- I like playing golf, but don't want to be a pro, so I need quality golf clubs that will help me enjoy the game, and not break my bank
Over the past several years I have researched and tested clubs from many companies, looking for quality golf clubs at price points below the major club manufacturers. My criteria for the clubs and companies are:
- Clubs with quality components (heads, shafts, grips)
- Performance and Playability
- Cosmetic appeal
- Solid feel
- Custom options for the clubs and set make up
- Clubs that I could play
- Good price points
- Good customer service
This website features companies and clubs that meet my criteria. You will not purchase anything from this website. I will provide links to the companies and specific clubs. Just follow the links and make your purchase. I hope you find this website helpful, and I would be glad to answer any questions via email.
